Program Description:
Travel with Babson to Guatemala in June 2019!

The Babson BELA program is offered in Antigua, Guatemala.  As part of the experience volunteers teach the Babson BELA program to around 50 youth who travel to Antigua.  In addition volunteers will have the unique opportunity to explore and live in the colonial city. Also, experience the mountainous and volcanic terrain Southern Guatemala has to offer.

Program Schedule
Preparation begins with Teaching Entrepreneurship seminar scheduled for Friday mornings October 12, 26 and November 9, 2018 (Make up day December 1, 2018.  This seminar prepares participants to work as a team on exercises and best practices for teaching the curriculum.

The team will visit Guatemala for 8 days from June 15th, 2019–June 25th, 2019. Once in Guatemala, Monday through Friday will be spent running the academy with approximately 50 students from the Antigua region. The estimated cost of this trip is $1,500, including airfare, meals, transportation, accommodations, and a guided tour. Students who complete in the Teaching Entrepreneurship seminar are eligible for a $500 stipend.

The application is open July 1 for June 2018.  Space is limited, and applicants will be considered on a rolling basis until the trip is full.
