Program Description:
Antigua GUATEMALA
Travel with Babson to Guatemala in June 2020!

Overview
The Babson BELA program is offered in Antigua, Guatemala.  As part of the experience volunteers teach the Babson BELA program to around 50 youth who travel to Antigua.  In addition volunteers will have the unique opportunity to explore and live in the colonial city. Also, experience the mountainous and volcanic terrain Southern Guatemala has to offer.

Program Schedule
Preparation begins with Teaching Entrepreneurship seminar. The dates for the seminar are Friday, March 29th, April 5 and 26th from 12:30PM-3:30PM.   This seminar prepares participants to work as a team on exercises and best practices for teaching the curriculum.

The team will visit Guatemala for 8 days from June 23rd, 2020–June 30th, 2020. Once in Guatemala, Monday through Friday will be spent running the academy with approximately 50 students from the Antigua region. The estimated cost of this trip is $1,500, including airfare, meals, transportation, accommodations, and a guided tour. Students who complete in the Teaching Entrepreneurship seminar are eligible for a $500 stipend.

The application is open July 1 for June 2020.  Space is limited, and applicants will be considered on a rolling basis until the trip is full.
