Host a Visiting International Scholar
Babson College hosts several international scholars each year in J-1 exchange visitor immigration status who will teach or perform research while a member of the Babson community. The Exchange Visitor Program promotes mutual understanding between the people of the United States (U.S.) and the people of other countries by educational and cultural exchanges, under the provisions of U.S. law.
International scholars may be invited by Babson College academic departments or administrative unites to engage in temporary academic activities such as research and teaching at Babson College in J-1 status for up to five years. The inviting faculty/administrator is responsible for defining the terms of the invitation including the level of services provided to the visiting scholar and any compensation. The Glavin Office of International Programs (OIP) will assist the visiting scholar with visa and immigration-related issues
