Studying at Trinity College Dublin

  • Established in 1592, Trinity College offers world-class academics on a beautiful 40-acre campus right in the middle of Dublin.
  • Trinity offers a wide range of course offerings in the humanities and social sciences, business and economics, science and engineering, and health sciences.
  • Students will take the majority of their classes in the School of Business Studies, but they may be able to take one or two classes in the School of Social Sciences as well.
  • You will be accepted to study within a single teaching department such as English or Art History, or within an interdisciplinary faculty such as Business, Economics and Social Science

  • Students must maintain a full-time course load, 30 ECTS credits per semesterTrinity Library
  • Participation in Trinity’s Semester Start-Up Program is optional. The program runs for three weeks and focuses on several areas of Irish Studies. This optional course will be worth 3 US credits (5 ECTS credits). There is a fee for the Semester Start-Up. This is not included in the tuition payment and must be paid directly by the student. The credits will be transferred in addition to your semester credits.
