Program Description:

OLIN/WELLESLEY (ENGR 4199/ENGR 3299) Affordable Design & Entrepreneurship

Students Enrolled in Affordable Design & Entrepreneurship

To participate in this program you must be currently enrolled in the semester-long course Affordable Design & Entrepreneurship.  If interested for future semesters, please visit the Registrar's course listings for more details on course content.


International Travel Policy Requirements

NOTE:  Email must be in the following format, i.e.

As part of Olin College of Engineering's travel policies, you will need to submit the required questionnaires, forms, and materials listed below.

In order to access the questionnaires and forms, you must visit the Education Abroad web-based data management system. Instructions are provided below.


Education Abroad Account Set-up

Do the following to access the Education Abroad system and set up your account. This account is needed to complete the online questionnaires and to get access to the physical forms you will need to print and fill out.

1. Click “Apply Now” button for the program. (If you have never applied to a program through this system you will need to follow steps 2 - XX, otherwise you will be asked to log-in using the credentials you set up for the prior program.)

2. User Identification Wizard will open – select "I do not have login credentials to this site.” option.
3. Complete all fields in “New User Form”.  NOTE:  Email must be in the following format, i.e.
4. Click “Create Account” button.  NOTE: An email will be sent with your login and password information to the email entered.
5. Once you have your temporary password, click the "General non-Username login" link at the bottom of the email.
6. Select "I have login credentials to this site that I received by email." option and submit.
7. Answer the security questions.
8. Change your temporary password.
9. Now you will land on your “Applicant Home Page”  Each time going forward when you log in you will land on this page allowing you to:

a. View the links to all programs for which you have applied. 
b. Edit your profile.
c. See all email messages that have been sent to your external email through the system.

10. Next click ADE Brochure Page and click the “Apply Now” button.
11. Select the term when you will be traveling (e.g. Fall Semester, 20XX).
12. Since this is the first time you have applied to a program in the system you will need to answer two questions:

a. Ethnicity – select from the drop-down options.
b. College/University – select from the drop-down options.

13. Click the “Continue” button and at this point you will be directed to your dashboard which includes the links to all of the questionnaires and forms listed below.
